This is
the second year that I've put out rather extensive Halloween decorations.
They were a big hit with the neighborhood kids last year so I decided to
do it again this year. I used many of the same props but picked up a
small witch figure this year along with a small caldron that emits smoke
and bubbling sounds and I set them up on the side of the house.

This is the smaller pumpkin for 2003; a "pukin' pumpkin." I'd wanted to do one of these for several years and finally did it this year. |
|
This is the larger one. While pretty good sized, it was nowhere near as big as the one I had in 2002.

The house decorated for Halloween 2003. I didn't put the grim reaper out this year but did put the stuffed devil out in the same place as 2002. Unfortunately, I apparently didn't take a close-up of him this year.

This is the Witch's shack, taken on Halloween afternoon. I set up an old brown blanket on some large tree branches to make a lean-to and put the Witch mannequin under it. The kettle at her feet made spooky sounds and gave off a "fog" and green glow when I turned them on after dark. There's another Witch up the tree that "crashed" while coming in for a landing.

This is what the Witch looked like after dark with the fog boiling out of the kettle and the green light shining up on the cotton "foamy broth."

Another shot of the "pukin' pumpkin," this one taken after dark with a flash.
