Here's the grandkids in their costumes. They
stopped by after trick-or-treating in their own neighborhood.
Trick-or-treating was just about over for this year by this time and
they're in the process of attacking the trick-or-treat candy that hadn't
been given out. |

Here's Sydney sitting next to the bigger of the
two pumpkins. I got a couple tubes of long thin glow-sticks on eBay
in September and Sydney has a hoop made from two of them in her lap and a
smaller one on her head. They
were beginning to fade by this time and with the light of the flash, they
don't look like they are glowing at all. |

Here's a close-up of the ghoul taken
after dark, clawing his way out of the grave.

This is the pukin' pumpkin, taken
after dark. Also visible is a small segment of the orange rope
lights I used to outline both sides of the sidewalk. |
|
Here's the larger pumpkin, taken
just as it was getting dark when it was lighted. You can also see
the tail end of the garland that ran around the door. |

The zombie is also hidden by the leaves above the witch's head. The
ghostly apparition from years past also reappeared this year and can be seen hanging in
the tree behind the arch. The ghostly apparition is the same one
I've used for a couple years with motion, lights, and sound activated by a
motion detector. |

This is the rest of the "haunted sidewalk" as
it approaches the front door. The graveyard is just to the right and
the ghost in the tree is to the left, along with the fog machine. |
|
Here's the fog machine doing its
thing. I had it set up with a timer that activated a blast of
fog about once a minute. |
