Here's Hil and Sebastian. Sebastian is
wearing his pumpkin costume and he wasn't particularly thrilled about it.
Originally, there was a matching hat but he was shaking his head so much
trying to throw it that we took it off. This turned out to be
Sebastian's last Halloween. He died the next April at 16 1/2 years
old. He was the sweetest little dog and we miss him terribly ever
since. |

Here's Sebastian in his pumpkin costume, waiting to
greet the trick-or-treaters.

Another shot of the pukin' pumpkin,
this one after dark when it was lighted. You can also see the purple
lights on the bush behind it and a segment of the orange rope lights again. |
|
This is a shot of the bigger pumpkin
sitting on the front porch, taken well after dark. It wasn't all that imaginative this year
and, since I got a late start carving this year, I went for simplicity and
speed over wildly intricate. |

Here's another shot of the bigger
pumpkin. Apparently the flash didn't fire when I took this one.
I was going to delete it but on second look, it was pretty cool and it
makes a nice "negative"
shot , compared to the one immediately above. |
|
Here's one more shot of Sebastian at the end of the night. By this time most of the kids were done trick-or-treating and we'd taken the pumpkin costume off of him, for which he was extremely happy. |
