Halloween 2009

Here's the beginning of the haunted sidewalk just after the lights came on. You can see the orange rope lights that U use each year to edge the sidewalk. A couple segments had burned out sections by the end of Halloween last year so during the off-season I found a site on the Internet that sells rope lighting in bulk and I bought a 150' spool. You can cut it so I cut two pieces, one for each side and it eliminated having several connectors along the length of it. This rope lighting seems considerably brighter than the segmented rope lights I've used over the past several years.

Here's one of the pumpkins lit. you can see that the rain has begun to fall by this time.

Here's left side of the house after dark with the fog machine working. You can also see the pukin' pumpkin and the purple lights on the evergreen lighted. You can also tell by the wet sidewalk that it was raining steadily by this time.

Here's the graveyard with the low-lying fog machine doing its thing.
Here's a picture of the center of the graveyard taken later in the evening. It's obviously raining in this pic.

Here's two more shots of segments of the "haunted sidewalk." Hil took these.

Hil also took this picture of the Pukin' Pumpkin. she took it from a distance so the flash would not be so bright. It made for a nice effect. You can also see a segment of the orange rope lights behind it.
